Hand lettering
The physical aspect of writing has always intrigued me. Hand-lettering is a beautiful art form, and the beauty lies in its simplicity. I have always wanted to try it out, and when I did the results were far from disappointing. These simple artistic art forms can serve as beautiful gifts for all occasions.Â
Mixed media- water color on paper.

The tree of life
Anything handmade has a beautiful aura to it. These hand twisted tree of life earrings made for a perfect graduation gift for a friend of mine. These sophisticated looking pieces are relatively easy to make, once you get the hang of all the way the wires can be twisted.

The colors of life
Mixed media, with sketch pens and water color on paper. The combination of bright and subtle colors add a distinct charm to the painting. I had this piece framed and used it as a piece of gift.
A simple piece of hand painted art can take up to three hours to finish, but the results are entirely worth waiting for.

The light of life
I am always on the lookout for turning things into a piece of art. This glass vase was actually cracked and could no longer be used as a vase. The cracks were too visible. However, I recycled it into a candle. The fun part is that all the things that went inside decoration of this piece, were collected over time- from sea shores, to tiny bits of paper that I did not have the heart to throw away.

The flowers of life
Roses are beautiful. I made these miniature rose bouquets using the technique of paper quilling. Like origami, it involves lot of paper folding, but here the pieces are long strips of paper. Quilling has several techniques, but the one I absolutely love is a technique called beehiving.
