WHY SCIENCE OUTREACH?

The Full Story

I love sharing about my interests in science with children. I like it, when they ask questions and when their eyes widen with wonder. I try to engage with science outreach as much as possible, as I have realized that the more I speak to people, the better I get at communicating my own science. 

I have been a part of various science . communication activities like the Reach for the Stars Stem Festival, Girls Scouts Stem Festival, ComSciCon2018, Santa Fe Science Writing Workshop 2018, AGU sharing science 2018. 

I have also taught at local middle schools as a part of an outreach program started by the Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences at Rice.

Teaching is fun, always.
